The Smoky Structural Volcanic Red
Deep, intense ruby-red with dark violet highlights. The nose is highly complex and beautifully savory, unfurling with ripe black currants, dark cherries, and plums, tightly layered with crushed black pepper, dried thyme, leather, and a signature line of flinty, volcanic smoke. Full-bodied yet impeccably balanced on the palate; the Cabernet Sauvignon provides a firm, muscular tannin framework, the Shiraz brings vibrant spice, and the Merlot contributes a silky, rounded texture, all backed by an elegant, mineral-driven acidity.

This is exactly how you rescue Merlot from the "jammy" trap. When you grow it in high-altitude volcanic soil and blend it with heavy hitters like Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz, everything changes. Instead of a flabby, syrupy fruit bomb, the Merlot acts as a brilliant texturing agent, smoothing out the aggressive edges of the Cabernet's firm tannins. The Shiraz then swoops in to deliver an awesome, punchy kick of cracked black pepper and dark spice. It has excellent structure, beautiful savory depth, and a lingering, smoky finish that screams for a good piece of grilled meat. An absolute winner.
