Viña Albali Airén-Verdejo-Sauvignon Blanc
Félix Solís (Valdepeñas, Spain)

The Mid-Day Refresher
Very pale and bright. It hits you with grapefruit and passion fruit on the nose, followed by a clean, citrusy palate. There is a slight herbal finish from the Verdejo that makes it feel very crisp.
⭐ (Low alcohol and very high acidity usually mean a clear head the next morning—just watch out for the heartburn if you drink it on an empty stomach!)
Light tapas, grilled shrimp, or a fresh Caesar salad. It’s also surprisingly good with spicy Asian takeout.
This is a "zesty" one. If you like wines that make the sides of your tongue tingle, this is it. It’s light enough that you could easily lose track of a bottle while sitting on a balcony. It’s unpretentious, cheap, and tastes significantly more expensive than it actually is.
