Sierra Salinas MO Monastrell (2022)
Sierra Salinas (MGWines - Alicante, Spain)

The Modern Mediterranean
A beautiful deep red color with purple reflections. It hits you with wild red fruits (redcurrant and raspberry) followed by a distinct floral note of violets and a tiny hint of sweet spice from the French oak.
⭐ (The high altitude and careful winemaking result in a very balanced wine that won't weigh you down).
Grilled pork, roasted Mediterranean vegetables, or even a spicy sausage pasta. It also pairs wonderfully with semi-hard cheeses like Mahón.
This is a "cool" wine. It’s the kind of bottle you bring to a dinner party when you want to look like you know exactly what you’re doing. It’s got that dark, mysterious Monastrell richness, but it’s surprisingly light on its feet. It’s a total winner for under-the-radar Spanish value.
