Serra de Bèrnia Tinto Joven (Roble)
Bodegas Xaló (Alicante, Spain)

The Mediterranean Mountain Path
A deep, bright red. It smells like ripe red berries, wild rosemary, and a touch of balsamic. The four months in oak give it a very subtle toasty vanilla finish that rounds out the juicy strawberry and plum flavors.
⭐ (The short aging process makes it smooth and stable, usually leading to a very easy next morning).
Arroz a banda (a local Alicante rice dish), grilled meats, or even a spicy tomato pasta. It also goes great with semi-cured cheeses.
This is the kind of wine you find in a small village tavern and wonder why it isn't famous worldwide. It’s got that "short-aged" magic—it’s still fun and fruity like a Joven, but it has a little bit more "oomph" and complexity. It’s reliable, earthy, and tastes like a Spanish summer evening.
