Rare Vineyards Sauvignon Blanc (2025)
LGI Wines / IGP Pays d'Oc, Languedoc-Roussillon, France

The Crisp, Sun-Mellowed French White
Very pale straw-yellow with bright golden clarity. The nose is soft and floral, opening with aromas of fresh lemon zest, white peach, green apple, and a delicate touch of lychee. Light-bodied and clean on the palate, driven by refreshing citrus acidity, smooth fruit balance, and a crisp, dry finish.
⭐ (Sitting at around 12% ABV and fermented entirely in cool stainless steel, it is squeaky-clean, light on its feet, and very easy on the head).
M&S goat cheese tartlets, poached salmon, fish and chips, light pasta dishes, or a simple green salad.
When you're in a country without vineyards, you're at the mercy of the local Marks and Spencer—and it's nice to find a French Sauvignon Blanc that doesn't feel like it's trying to attack your taste buds. Marlborough likes to shout, but this French high-street bottle speaks in a calm, civilized tone. Sourced from the sunny Languedoc, it trades sharp, mouth-puckering acidity for smooth lemon, crisp apple, and soft peach. It’s light, breezy, and a completely dependable fridge-staple white for a quiet evening in.
