Mud House Chile Sauvignon Blanc (2025)
Mud House / Central Valley, Chile

Very pale lemon-straw with crisp greenish tints in the glass. The nose is bright, aromatic, and distinctly herbal, featuring notes of crisp green pepper, lime zest, grapefruit, white peach, and a subtle crushed-grape leaf element. Light-bodied and energetic on the palate, driven by zesty citrus acidity and a clean, dry, mineral-edged finish.
⭐ (Sitting at around 12.5% ABV and vinified entirely in temperature-controlled stainless steel, its clean, razor-sharp profile goes down easy and treats the head gently).
M&S salmon cakes, fresh goat cheese salad, fish tacos, herb-crusted chicken breast, or simple midweek fish and chips.
When you're in a country without vineyards, you're at the mercy of the local Marks and Spencer—which means coming across weird brand crossover experiments like a famous New Zealand label bottling Chilean fruit for British shelves. But credit where it's due: this is actually a fantastic budget bottle. It trades Marlborough's explosive passionfruit and cat-pee punch for a cooler, green-pepper-and-lime profile reminiscent of a coastal Chilean breeze. Crisp, bright, and an absolute steal for an easy-drinking weeknight white.
