Emidio Oggianu Acquavite di Vino Malvasia (Vigna Badde Nuraghe)
Emidio Oggianu / Magomadas & Bosa, Planargia, Sardinia, Italy

The Smooth, Golden Oak-Aged Fireside Digestivo
Warm amber-gold in the glass. The nose is rich, aromatic, and comforting, unrolling aromas of dried apricot, orange blossom, sweet vanilla, toasted oak, honeyed almond, and delicate pastry spice. Full-bodied, warming, and silky on the palate, with the 42% ABV perfectly integrated alongside delicate wood tannins, golden fruit sweetness, and a long, glowing, nutty-floral finish.
⭐⭐ (At 42% ABV, it’s a high-proof digestivo. However, as a small-batch, estate-distilled single-grape spirit aged cleanly in oak, it’s exceptionally pure and gentle when enjoyed as a single post-dinner pour).
Espresso, dark chocolate, Sardinian amaretti, aged pecorino with honey, or savored neat as an after-dinner digestivo.
A magnificent conclusion to the Oggianu visit. Distilling the whole Malvasia wine—rather than just the pressed skins—gives this spirit an insanely smooth, fruit-forward elegance. The oak aging rounds off any sharp edges, leaving you with liquid warmth packed with honeyed apricot, vanilla, and white floral aromas. A brilliant, artisanal digestif.
