Cal y Canto (Tempranillo, Merlot, Syrah)
Bodegas Isidro Milagro (La Mancha, Spain)

The Friday Night Feast
Very aromatic and "jammy." It smells like ripe blackberries and black cherries with a distinct hint of black pepper. On the palate, it’s full-bodied and smooth, with a long finish that tastes like dark fruit compote.
⭐⭐ (The Syrah makes this a bit more robust/alcoholic than your average Joven, so don't forget the water between glasses).
Red meats, hearty stews, or a strong blue cheese. It’s the perfect companion for a late-night steak or a spicy pizza.
This is a "big" wine for a small price. It feels dark, moody, and sophisticated. If the other young reds are like a bright summer afternoon, this one is like a cozy evening by a fire. It’s got a lot of personality without being too "tannic" or mouth-drying.
