Azpilicueta Crianza 2020
Bodegas Azpilicueta (Logroño, Rioja Alta)

The Friday Night Standard
A nose full of ripe cherries and plums backed up by "the oaky stuff"—vanilla, coconut, and a hint of spice. It’s smooth, easy to drink, and has just enough backbone to feel like a "real" adult beverage.
⭐⭐ (Tempranillo is kind, but the oak and tannins might remind you of your age if you finish the bottle).
Grilled lamb chops, aged Manchego cheese, or sitting on a terrace pretending you've forgotten how to log into Slack.
If Rioja was a person, this would be the effortlessly cool Spaniard wearing a linen shirt. It doesn't try too hard because it knows it’s good. It’s reliable, classy, and significantly better than the "House Red" you’re used to back home.
